REGISTRATION OPENS FOR APTRA KPMG INSIGHTS SEMINAR IN HONG KONG

The Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association (APTRA) is delighted to announce that registration is now open for the first APTRA KPMG Insights Seminar of the autumn series.

The seminar, which is open to APTRA members, will take place on Tuesday, 27th November from 4pm to 5.30pm at the KPMG office at Causeway Bay, Hong Kong and will be followed by a cocktail reception.

After a welcome from APTRA President Andrew Ford, Maria Villanueva, Senior Project Manager at m1nd-set will present the highlights of the latest APTRA m1nd-set research studies.

This research, which was kindly sponsored by Distell, Interparfums and PUIG, assesses the shopping behaviour of travellers at major airport hubs in Asia Pacific, including top categories visited and purchased, barriers to shopping, shoppers’ internet usage and behaviour at the airport.

Anson Bailey, Head of Consumer Markets, ASPAC, KPMG China will look at the latest disruptive technology in retail and its potential impact on the duty free & travel retail industry in the Asia Pacific region.

Almost 400 people attended the APTRA KPMG Insights Seminar autumn series last year, networking and gaining valuable insights to market trends and consumer behaviour.
