Currency fluctuations have limited impact on Chinese travel

Chinese currency touristsAccording to Chinese daily “South China Morning Post” the devaluation of the Chinese currency is having little effect on the Chinese tourists’ passion for travel.

The yuan’s depreciation will apparently not stop Chinese from travelling but some may become more cost-conscious, particularly when it comes to luxury items.

Also, while the Yuan may be down against the dollar, it is still close to two-year or longer highs against the currencies of popular tourist destinations like Japan, South Korea, Australia and the Eurozone, as aviation analysts CAPA report in the article.
