APTRA and KPMG will shortly invite registrations for the next round of research seminars which provide actionable data for the Association’s members. The 2017 APTRA KPMG Insights Seminar series, which is open to members and other interested parties on a space available basis, kicked off in Singapore on 10th May with a breakfast workshop attended by over 60 people.
The next seminars will take place in Seoul and Shanghai during the week of 27 November (precise details to be confirmed), followed by the final seminar of the year in Hong Kong on the afternoon of 30th November at KPMG’s Hysan Place offices. Full details will be published on the APTRA website in the near future.
Delegates attending the forthcoming Insights Seminars will hear summaries of recent research conducted in the Asia Pacific region, most recently APTRA m1nd-set reports on duty free consumer characteristics in China, India, Japan and Korea, and a topical study into ecommerce by KPMG. They will also have an opportunity to network and socialise with fellow participants, including APTRA Board Members.
The Insights Seminars are sponsored by Bommidala Group, Brown Forman, Changi Airport Group, DFS, Distell, Eastern Duty Free, The Edrington Group, Jonathan Holland & Associ-ates, Moet Hennessy, Regent Asia Group and Treasury Wine Estates. APTRA would like to give special thanks to all supporting companies, whose sponsorship has made this event possible.
The APTRA KPMG Insights Seminars, and the research reports from which they derive their content, are some of the most valuable services according to members.
